Adrian Dickey knows how much Iowa families are struggling due to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ failures. Their reckless spending, open border policy and over-regulation is raising prices, making it harder to stay in business, and more difficult for everyone to make ends meet. Adrian Dickey will always support responsible budgets, cutting red tape and burdensome regulations, and our law enforcement as they keep us safe.
Always focused on protecting Iowa taxpayers, Adrian Dickey has supported historic income tax relief for families and small businesses. He believes it should never be easy for the government to take more hard-earned money from Iowans.
Junk lawsuits raise costs for small businesses and families all across Iowa. Adrian Dickey has led the way in the Iowa Senate to put the clamps on these frivolous actions by supporting common sense tort reform to protect both small businesses and consumers.
Iowa is an agricultural state. Our farmers work hard day and night to feed people all over the world. Adrian Dickey will stand up for Iowa farmers and protect our land and our most important industry.
As a result of a directive from the Biden Administration in 2023, the Veterans hospital in Des Moines removed the American flag and flew “some other flag” during June in front of its main entrance. Our veterans fought for the American flag, they risked their lives for the American flag, and many died for the American flag. Adrian firmly believes our veterans should be greeted by the American flag when they enter the VA Hospital for their treatments! When Adrian learned of this, he drove 2 hours to the VA Hospital in Des Moines to put the American flag at the top of the flag pole. When the VA took it down, he did it again. And again. And again. And again. And again!
This June, Adrian learned the Des Moines VA Hospital removed the entire flag pole so that “they didn’t have to fight with him on having to fly the American flag” at the main entrance! So Adrian went out and purchased a new flag pole and installed it himself. The next day the VA had it removed, so Adrian purchased and installed another one. And he did this again. And again. And Again.
This is what “Protecting what common sense” looks like!
As a business owner, Adrian knows first-hand how hard it is to make payroll while also managing high taxes, over-regulation, and government incentives not to work. That is why he’s working in the Iowa Senate to reward work and investment and cut back needless government regulations and programs.
